Today I am trying something different with my meds. I have been
grasping at straws lately, because I have been feeling so awful. on the
thyroid.about site they have a great article on compounded T3/T4. Go
read it if you would like to see the best arguement so far for why we
need T3 as well as T4.

My doctor told me last spring after my surgery that if I couldn't get
my dose to work, we could go to the compounding pharmacy and get a
compounded dose. So, since I have noticed my symptoms worsening
when I take my dose all at once, I decided to try taking 4 mini doses
throughout the day to see fi I can tolerate that better. I
thought I would feel realy crappy only taking 30 mg or Armour this
morning, but so far I feel fine. If this works, then I will
go to the compounder, so I don't have to remember to take all these
little pills all the time.
