Ok, I got experimental in the kitchen. I will spare you all the many verses I came up with and just get down to the recipe. I have named it tequila sunrise kabobs, and yes, it has KUMQUATS in it.
Ingredients:
Beef Sirloin cut in largish chunks for shishing.
The usual shish veggies
For the sauce, I minced up a handfull of KUMQUATS, juiced to limes, tossed in some tequila and olive oil. Oh yeah, some garlic and salt, too. Marinated it for an hour, set it on fire, then ate it. Everyone thought it was quite yummy.
