For all the stress I had these last few weeks, I actually had an exceptionally nice Christmas: no arguing, great food, a great time, and a really enjoyable opportunity to be with family and friends. My godchildren loved their prezzies, the cats did not assault the Christmas tree, and everything that I cooked turned out to be a success. The worst ( Read more... )

Thanks! It really was a nice Christmas, and I was very touched and pleased by my gifts. ~snorts~ You know you're getting older when you get excited about getting a box of socks for Christmas!

*g* Yes, I do remember toe socks! I remember how very cool we thought my friend was for being the first person in the school to wear them. They're making something of a comeback now, you know. I saw them when I was out shopping and just had to laugh.
