I too am nonplussed by the whole Avengers thing. TBH, I zone out when I see anything on my tumblr dash, or adverts. The characters hold no meaning for me outside of this film. Seeing them run around and being all superhero-ish does nothing for me. I literally fell asleep watching Iron Man because I find fight scenes boring, unengaging. :shrugs:

Um. Yes? ~hides behind hair~ I didn't say much of anything about it, because I was deliberately keeping expectations... kind of nonexistent, actually. Just determined to go out and have a nice meal, and it turned out to be nicer than that, thunderstorm aside, so, um... good. *g*
(It's the geography teacher, because we finally got around to exchanging a few e-mails, and he is really very sweet, and not Howardy at all in some ways, although terribly Howardy in other ways. But in the best possible sense. The solid, steady, reassuring sense. And apparently he cooks and bakes.)
...Anyway, the recipe is good and I hope you enjoy it. And although I enjoyed Iron Man well enough for RDJ's presence, I know exactly what you mean about superhero films in general. They flip an off-switch in my brain somehow. Kind of the way jazz does, now that I think about it...
