Ahaha! I'd totally forgotten about Mister Rogers. (I was more of a Mister Dress-up girl, myself.) But as long as it wasn't Bono. ;-)
I kind of want to title something Blunderbarn now! And Jack White is probably an acquired taste, but I'm fond of him. (Admittedly, the fact that we're both Detroiters probably helps; he's only a few years older than I am, and I remember when he was up and coming on the local music scene, before the White Stripes hit it big.) This album is immediately identifiable as his work, but it's also a different vibe from any of his other group projects. And if nothing else, I'd think you might appreciate the lyrics, which are dense and clever and enjoyably twisty. Wordplay abounds!
