Thank YOU! I'm glad you enjoyed it. And you really can't have one without the other, can you? Even when I was trying to get them to talk about themselves, they couldn't go five minutes without mentioning the other one! *g* They really are a double act, right down to the bone.

Hee! My desk is more than a bit like that. (And my office, and my house, and... it's neat, in its own way, but logical systems of efficiency are not my strong point. I'd be booted out of Stationery Village!) But figuring out Vince's style of organizing was interesting because yes, the first instinct is to think that he doesn't have any. But then I realized that it wasn't really true: he doesn't actually lose things in the apartment or hut or shop (from them, yes--but that's because they've been stolen), and he actually does snap into sharp, organized focus when the issue is about something that matters to him, or that he considers his specialty. So... he is organized, in his own way. It's just that to somebody with a mind like Howard's, it looks like a random mess.

And Vince was quite insistent that Howard needs to stop trying to "help" him organize his stuff. ;-)
