Success!
So I've already done some preliminary thinking about costuming for Infinitus (yes, yes, a year away, but I've never yet met an occasion for which I couldn't overplan), and I decided that one of my ideas could work really rather well if I could manage to get my hair in the proper style.
It just so happened that today my hair had just the right texture to do a test run for said style, and so I sat in front of the mirror and set to experimenting with the hair pins, just for the hell of it, to find out if I could manage what I had in mind.
Well. It worked, and then some. Rather better than what I'd expected, even. With the proper makeup, the effect will be even better.
Provided I can get the rest of the costume together, I think I'll be cosplaying as at least one other character next year, aside from Rowena. :D
