Such a Car Girl
So this weekend turned out to be interesting. Friday I woke up so sick so I ended up staying home Friday night. It turned out to be cool though I got some work done and watched a ton of law and order. I also got a full nights sleep which caused me to wake up feeling somewhat better on Saturday. Saturday I woke up and went tanning/nails done. What sucks about the tanning is with finals I hadn't been able to go and it's like I'm starting all over. I'm going to have to get some of that lotion or whatever they sell. Then I rushed home and took a shower so me and my Dad could go test drive the corolla s. Well needless to say I was in love. The problem was I still loved my SUV too so we headed back to retest drive the SUV. The rest of the day I had car dealerships undercutting themselves pricewise to try and get me to take their car. It was a rough afternoon I got all emo because I couldn't decide which vehicle I wanted. I finally went with the corolla then my Dad went to the dealership to pick it up. Oh yea background. I wanted this 05 corolla s with a gagillion amenities. There were three of them already made and on the east coast. one of them happened to be in burlington so fate my Dad thought he was gonna have to call in favors and get one sent up from Alexandria or a new one made which woulda been a pain in the ass since it's an 05. SOOO then my Mom calls my Dad and tells him not to come home with the car because I got all emo and still wasn't sure. So finally my Dad comes home after test driving the car and getting mine appraised. WE discussed it before I ran out to meet Brian at Applebees. I so wanted applebees easybak style chocolate cake lol. So we did that a little shopping and grabbed a drink at houlihans before I went home and passed out. Then the next morning we revisited the car issue and after going over economics (umm yea I would save 5000 a year by getting the corolla) and of course the fact that it was the first year for the SUV and it did have a recall I became happy with the corolla decision so I signed my title and I'm picking up my car today :) I'm happy. My Dad was laughing cause he was like "SHOPPING for a NEW car should be FUN not making you miserable so just keep your car" well I knew that wouldnt be good so. Nooooow I will be a new car owner. My very first brand new car both my other cars were previously driven by my Mom and had like 30,000 miles on them. Oh a bad note I have a funeral to attend first which I'm not looking forward to. I'm just not good at funerals. I don't cry in front of people and it makes me look cold when in all reality it's that I just hold it in til I'm by myself. Other than that I'm chillin. Not too shabby not too shabby. But for now I'm at work and thinking about how I'm going to miss my little get my there machine :( And a little upset I'm leaving Hyundai cause the guys there have become like family I walk in and get what I want lol. But they know why I went that way and I got them hoagies and a thank you card for all their hard work over the last couple months. and I'd like to give a special shout out to NIck the manager and tell him IM KEEPING MY BRACELET AND YOU WILL STILL BE GREAT ADVENTURE (he told me since I test drove the car twice to get a damn bracelet cause I was turning the car dealership into great adventure lol)
