Sometimes, when I've exhausted LJ and The New York Times and the various food blogs I obsessively pour over, I sit on Amazon and click through the recommended books to see what pulls up. Occasionally I'll add a book to my wishlist, but more often than not, I'm simply going through the books to see what I've read versus what I haven't. A Kurt Vonnegut book came up on the list, I clicked it as "I own it" (I have a near-complete collection of Vonnegut books, due to finding them $1 each at Recycled). I'm now scrolling though piles of recommended Vonnegut books, most of which I've read and all of which I own. Ah well.
Yeah, it's a little slow today.
On an unrelated note, I have to remember to pick up toilet paper and an analgesic of some sort. With a tendency to both need to use the restroom and get headaches, these are absolutely essential in my world. I also need to (finally) pay rent. I'll figure out paying the car payment later, I suppose. And groceries!
At least I'm catching Spoon tonight, for free. Thank you Camel Girls, with your free rock tickets and carcinogens!
One last note: Does anyone else find it mildly ironic LJ's spellchecker doesn't have "blogs"?
