I've been mucking around on Amazon today, and filled my
wishlist almost entirely full of non-fiction writing on food. Not that that should be a shock to anyone...I'm just badly in need of some new-to-me novelists to give me obsessive reading thrills. There aren't too many I'm excited about with a sufficient back-catalogue, especially one that won't drive me batty (eg. John Irving, whom I love, but if I try and tackle more than 2 of his books in a span of a year, I find myself going a little batty, and I don't need any help with that).
Speaking of reading books about food, I've been reading
Garlic and Sapphires by Ruth Reichl. Anyone who enjoys books about food and disguises should read it.
My coffee this morning tastes a little like onions. Blech.
