I pulled up to work (keep in mind I work at Texas Motor Speedway) and the camping parking lot was already starting to fill up with RVs and tents. Granted, I'm not a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I can't imagine liking NASCAR so much that you'd drive up and camp out in front of the racetrack 5 days in advance. And I just don't think there's that much else going on in scenic Ft. Worth, TX. But that's just me.

I finally got around to cooking yesterday; I made a giant pot of Sicillian-style meatless (but not vegetarian) sauce, the type that you simmer and simmer and simmer. It turned out pretty well, but I had some difficulty getting it to cook down and thicken up satisfactorily. I think next time, I'll drain the tomatoes and use a little more wine (because I love wine in pasta sauce). I've got enough I can eat off it for the rest of the week...I'll be so sick of spaghetti by Friday.

My sis is sick as a dog, but she's been to the doc, has some meds, and should be back on her feet in a day or two. Thankfully, Dylan is taking care of her.

I've got sex on the brain pretty bad today. I blame spring.
