Pride And Prejudice and the Harry Potter books were actually good, to my surprise.

I don't really care for much Victorian English literature, so I'm rather doubtful I'd enjoy Pride and Prejudice all that much, even though I'm sure it's a good book...just not what I'm into.

I read the first Harry Potter book and 1/2 of the second and I honestly didn't care for them at all. I didn't really care for JK's craftmanship, and I guess I got spoiled by all the children's masterpieces I read growing up (eg. Chronicles of Narnia, Wizard of Oz, and Wrinkle in Time series).

Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events is excellent, though.
