I thought I was feeling better today. A little mopey and snotty still, but I managed to fight with the computer and get my design resume up to date, shrank some PDFs for emailing since my website no longer exists, and applied for a handful of Admin Assistant and clerical jobs at UNT before heading to to Kharma with the Casa de Los McCs. But when I got home, my body launched a new offensive, this time a stomachy offensive, and I ate Campbells Low-Sodium Chicken Noodle Soup...you know, the canned stuff...for dinner before curling up on the couch, reading, and wallowing around in my patheticness.
That's right...home cooked soup snob extraordinare I ate soup from a can. Incidentally, the Low-Sodium Chicken noodle soup tastes exactly like the regular stuff except more watery and less salty...certainly no heartier or richer as the can claimed than the high-sodium stuff from my childhood. In fact, I think it's the sodium that makes the soup taste like childhood. Salty salty childhood.
But I don't know what I'm talking about right now...I don't think my head's getting enough oxygen. I'm off to wallow some more, methinks.
