Another day in the office
So, Mark just went to go pick up a wireless router. We are having a hard time getting this office to give us Ethernet in the conference room. Dr. Shirley is one of the best knee doctors in the country (I may or may not get to meet Tiger Woods, seriously, I might), but his office is not as high tech in terms of networking as one would imagine. By the time we are through with this place it will be pretty intense.
We walked through the new office yesterday. We are taking over the second floor of an office building and converting it from a christian pre-school to Blue-Links. It's a nice space. Mark's wife, Joyce, is our interior decorator and I love the design she has (mostly because I get my own office....woop).
This job makes me so happy. I am making really good money and I love coming to work every day. Ok ok, I know it is only day 4, but I think I would know by now if I was going to be miserable or not. Mary, from the Saylon totally must be losing her mind. Apparently Suze, the woman who took over my job, is in the hospital and Mary said she had to keep it confidential but that it was a bit serious. Rosa is having her own issues and can't work and Mary has a family reunion. She asked me to work on Saturday. I almost laughed. Are you kidding me?
Had a pretty intense evening last night. It was a good thing and needed to happen and I feel SOOO much better today.
So.....that's about it and Mark should be back soon. I just called my new insurance guy because I get to start a health savings account. Hooray! I'm a big girl now.
