I was watching a speech today on TV talking about the need for the Fed and the certain other agencies to be granted authorities to do whatever they need to do to save the 'failing' economy.

The way it was presented sounded like salvation but the way I took it was that they want to grant all this authority to Reserve Bank officials and governmental officials and that in giving them the power necessary to 'save' our economy it seems we would eventually be at the mercy of of people OUTSIDE the government; ultimately they're proposing something that will eventually have us slowly surrendering our rights so that we can ride around in Escalades with 22's.

Seems to me like those extremely high up are using our consumerism to get us under their control, slowly but surely. Given that I can't remember anything that happened more than 5 minutes ago I can't cite any parts of the speech, but that seemed to be what it was getting at, subtlely.

Call me crazy, but aren't the ones who really want more power those who have power already? Food for thought...

(Conspiracy) LOL

good post. peace : )
