Las Vegas

Las Vegas was fantastic and warm. We did a lot of walking and touristy things and not a whole lot of sleeping. The first night we got there late so we only walked the strip for a few hours. Saturday we walked the strip again, went to the shark reef at Mandalay Bay, rode the roller coaster at NYNY, and saw the lions at MGM Grand.

Sunday I got to hang out with Jordan while the guys went to Nascar. We went to a softball game (one of her friends was playing for Harvard), did a bit of shopping (I got sunscreen that I had failed to bring and naturally got a nice sunburn from the softball game), and went to the Bodies Exhibit at the Tropicana (it's an exhibit of lots of human bodies that are preserved by sucking out all the water with acetone, bathing it in a silicone and vacuum sealing it so that they will never decay. Anyway, it was so cool to see all the different bodies and body parts totally preserved and not in any way resembling turkey like all of our cadavers in Anatomy). Then Jordan's friend Diana's family fed me lots of very very good food.

Monday we all slept in a little, went to Buffalo Wild Wings, bowling, a barbeque, watched 300 at the movie theater, went swimming, and sat in the hot tub for a very long time. Tuesday we had to drag ourselves out of bed after 4-ish hours of sleep, check out, and drive home.

I'm so not excited to be working all day (8-4 and then 6:30-??? for the DNCF rodeo). Not only did I not sleep very much the last night or on the way home, but my lovely neighbors were very loud all night even though Dustin told them that I was home and trying to sleep. I really hate stupid people.
