And yeah, at this point, any color will happen at a salon. They might scare the shit out of me, but if they can fuck up my hair like this, think how badly I could fuck it up on my own, right?
Thank you for the care tips. The really expensive conditioners have been helping, but I've still got a little ways to go. What does the white vinegar do, by the way? Does it take away some of the color they added back in? I mean, I know it's very blonde underneath the brown "toner" they put on... would the vinegar take off some of that toner and leave me a little more blond? Cuz that would also make me happy.
By the way, I invested in some super crazy purple shampoo that's been helping the brassy colors and simultaneously making my shower water bright purple- so two bonuses in one bottle!
Kisses kitten, hope your weekend improves- and thank you again for the tips! I am ever so grateful

Vinegar basically just strips out all kinds of crazy shit--products they put in, extra color, anything. It's really good for your hair. And while expensive products are awesome, I highly recommend the dark-beer-and-egg-yolk approach, as it has worked better for me than when I spend $30 on a bottle. I don't know why this is. It is kind of unfair.
