With or without you....
I have not gone to bed before 4 in the morning since last Wednesday. I can't sleep. Tonight might just be the night. I went to my first hockey game of the year. Pre-season and no Marti St. Louis plus we lost but it was still fun. And now I am exhausted. Today was the first day of Autumn and you could really feel the change in the air...as much of a change as you get in Florida. Yesterday I took Charlie down to Crystal Beach and wrote and read for like 3 hours. He does so good....lays around, meets people, plays with the other dogs. It was magical. Then just as the sun was about to set my mom and dad showed up and then my friend Jen and then 2 more friends Chris and Matt. It was such a nice little gathering and really made me appreciate this stinky place. Just when I thought I wanted to get out...I am given ten million reasons to stay. Sitting out late on the dock, swimming in the middle of the night, beautiful sunsets, and good music....Just a few reasons.
Jesse and Tiff are coming for a visit from Thursday through Monday. Holopaw is playing a show in Ybor on Sunday night. I have my training for my travel job on Saturday and then I am going to plan a birthday adventure in Savannah...Selah promised me some sort of blow up thing like a bounce house or a big inflatable slide. Then I am off to Louisiana to work at a conference. These are the things I am looking forward to right now. That and a good night's sleep. :)
