First--comments!
1. I think I have every Beck album (stolen from a friend, obvs), but have never listened to one on purpose. For this reason, I will never be a hipster. (I am fond of Sexx Laws however.)
2. If only we could take a field trip to the Yankee Candle monstrosity!
3. Crosswords are the best way to kill time at the reference desk. I watched Wordplay on the plane home from DC.
9. I need to start listening to NPR to boost my indie/intellectual cred. And I want their summer internship (in DC!).
10. I've read it, so I will remain mum.
Now--my own top ten five!
1. Air popped popcorn seasoned with garlic salt. The air popper is the best kitchen appliance I stole from home.
2. The Blow's "Parentheses" and Peter Bjorn and John's "Objects of My Affection". (Songs, natch).
3. Dancing in your underwear to Voxtrot. Preferably with the blinds closed.
4. Spending your free time watching and listening to the stars of The Office on talk shows, etc. I can never see Ryan and Dwight in the same way after listening to them on Loveline.
5. Visiting California. Omg, it is so awesome, you have to do it sometime.
