Next Wednesday I leave for Santa Fe! I'll be driving 12 hours a day for three days, and I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can suggest some good books and/or CDs. Books especially. I like books. Plus I don't know if I'll be able to have a CD player on the flight back, since they have the new security in place ( Read more... )

Atonement by Ian McEwan, Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, and The History of Love by Nicole Krauss. If you want to borrow any of these, let me know. We must hang out soon. I'm going back to school on the 31st. :))))

Ummm... Not a whole lot. We're having a little cookout on the 27th so that I can see my family before I leave. You should come! Either that or maybe we can make a mall trip or something. I still have a few things I want to get before I leave. I'll definitely see you before I go. Enjoy your road trip! I'm ever so jealous, as you know. Are you sure they're not allowing electronics on domestic flights?? For some reason, I thought that was only for international flights... How can they expect anyone to fly without music! >:O

I checked the FAA website, and you're not allowed to have electronics if your flying to LAX, New York, Boston, or Atlanta. And since I'm not going any of those places, I can def have music. Thank God!

Umm...I would love to come to your cookout...and either way, we should go to the mall at some point. You could still come on the trip....it's not too late...you could visit Sabina, and we could fly back together...hmmmm?

Ah well. Give me a call sometime, or I'll call you...or you're online right now, so i think I'll just IM you.
