After break, without realizing it, I determined to fix a lot of the things in my life that have been bothering me. Since then, I've spent a lot more time with my friends (in Bloomington and elsewhere) and family, I've worked more towards my career through my internship, and I'm working at being more open. More open to my unknowable future (as impossible as it may seem), to love (as jaded as I am), and to experiences in general.

The internship has been great. I've been working extra hours and on extra projects to really prove myself to my superiors--all of whom are very nice and accommodating. I have no idea if this will materialize into a future job, but the experience is priceless.

I'll be spending spring break and my 22nd birthday with my mother in Virginia. I'll meet up with Annie for a day on her spring break in Washington, D.C. (where her current boyfriend lives), so it will be interesting. Last time I visited Virginia, my mom and I fought the entire time. I feel like this is my last chance to forge some type of friendship with my mother, a feat I've more than less given up on.

I took a yearbook picture, just for the heck of it. Since I'm a senior, they required an extra photo of me in a commencement cap and gown. It was....so, so weird.
