the second annual des plaines holiday bar crawl
i think i came out of it relatively unscathed, comparatively. well, comparatively to my mother. my mom met us out at the beacon tap and was shit-TAY. SHIT. TAY. my lord. drinking shots of southern comfort. but i was flying high for a good while before common sense got the best of me and i started drinking water and stole a cab home from some dudes.
Anna's little brother was our personal chauffer all night, coming to pick us up from a bar in the minivan only under the condition that we give him $5. it was pretty awesome. oh, and mike came out to the bar crawl, which was also awesome because mike never does anything fun. and he left his jacket on the whole night, as always, until the very end. i have a picture.
i brought a little taste of the karaoke assassins to des plaines, also. there was karaoke at the beacon and some dude did "don't stop believin'" and i was so incensed (that's AMANDA'S song)!!!! that i did "tell it to my heart" and then "i wanna dance with somebody." it was wonderful.

mike pushed me into the bushes on our way to the beacon, and derek and anna joined me.
derek stole the microphone from this lady and sang with her. we don't know who she is.
