turkey is awesome. im never coming home.
im already booking a return trip in june of 2006. a nice graduation trip for me.
im in istanbul and already made friends with a man named Ali who sells carpets down the street. each morning i wake up and sit with him on a stool in front of his store and we drink apple tea.
next week i go to bursa and ıznik (formerly Nicea, the birthplace of the Nicean Creed for all you Catholics). then onto edirne, which is across the river from greece. i love that i am finally able to say that i will have been to asia after i visit bursa and iznik.
lisa booked us a flight to florida the weekend after my birthday, july 7th to the 11th. we are flying down to tampa to pick up a car she bought there and driving it back up. its gonna be a fun road trip. we have matching outfits.
oh, and tuesday i peed in a public hole in the ground. there was a nice little door for privacy and everything. it was awesome.
