Focus on the problems

Dec 16, 2010 08:48

Thanks to those of you who repllied. Sorry for the (very mildly) alchohol fueled emo rant last night.

Basic problems and solutions:

Money:

Need $700 immediately to avoid eviction, and I don;t know how fast I would need to remove myself if they did. I do not have sufficient funds for U-haul at the moment, either.  Whether or not I can meet this deadline, working in Portland has become a financial nightmare and I'll need to get out of here ASAP. Some have suggested just letting the eviction happen whether I can get the money or not, I'm not certain it's the best course.

I'm also ashamed to admit that I have three guitars in pawn at the moment, one ticket needs a $70 renewal fee (or roughly $575 to retreive it) by the 25th. I was working a plan of selling and rotating other gear to get these out, but enthusiastic replies on Craigfslist have not panned out to enthusiastic buyers at the moment. And I'm late on other payments with Payday coming Tuesday (short  due to lost hours while sick)

Job:

Already working on replacement. Temp job (at *Big Search*) I lost because of schedule in June is looking for more people starting end of January with more reasonable hours. Strong possibility, but too far out. Did preliminaries for another job a (*Megasoftwarecorp*) Sounds like a good possibility for another game test job. Returning to classes was a bust due to Financial aid office screwing up on my applications (Again x2)

Moving:

Whether immediately, or soon after, I'm going to need to rush out of this apartment. Any possibility of help would be very welcome.

This is what I need help and advice with. I have to refill minutes on my phone (sigh) and make a few calls before work today.
