it's been a long day
i've been up for 33 hours, and driving for 24 of them...
just got back from wisconnsin. drove out with a friend from school on tuesday (took about 23 hours, we stopped over night, though that 23 hours doesnt include the overnight stop). we went for another friend's wedding. the wedding was friday and it was very unusual compared to most "normal" weddings but totally awesome. the groom walked down the isle to the baseball tonight theme or whatever it is, the wedding party walked down to a few different songs from "we are the champions" to "call me al" (or whatever the real name is). and there was just all sorts of other crazy things, but thats just how they are.
anyways, just got back today around 3pm, left yesterday around 245... drove straight through, yep 24 hours of driving (with a few stops for food, gas and bathroom breaks, not to mention just trying to stay awake). but yea it was a good time, i had never been off the east coast before so i opted to drive instead of fly to see some of the country side. i've gotta say, ohio and indiana are pretty borning, just lots of corn. illinois is annoying because of chicago traffic and lots of tolls, I95 is always annoying, but overall it was a pretty good and fairly easy drive, with minimum traffic problems, no police problems, no accidents, and only once we came close to running out of gas in the middle of no where in indiana, but we found a place with a few miles to spare haha. wisconnsin had some beautiful country side and so did pennsylvania (though penn was just too damn long)
so im back in RI for the next 2 weeks and then i move into my appartment in boston september 2nd and start school the 11th (im pretty sure). summers almost over, but im kind of glad, it'll be nice to get back into the swing of things, i need to start working on my music again.
