to please an anonimous LJ poster, i shall update my journal. It's been a while, hope you all had a good winter break, i would assume everyone's back in school by now. This semester is going to be difficult, i've only got seven classes and they all only meet once a week (besides western civ which meets twice a week because it's a 3 credit class there for 3 hours long (1 1hour 1 2hour class) so the work is spaced out, but i've got traditional harmony and counter point which are pains in my ass since they're both basically how to analize and write music from the classical view, and i like (and know how) to do things from the jazz point of view. so i've gotta learn all these rules and stuff that i really dont care to understand, since for myself, jazz harmony is much easier and more useful.
other than that, things are good for the most part...i miss certian people back at home, i havent been and probably wont be going home too often this semester because of school and stuff which is kind of good, but i do miss a few certain people who i wish i could see more often...i guess you cant do everything, "you're not superman"
