Recently, I've been trying to formulate an effective prison outreach program as one of the embassy's charity programs, so I'd love to hear any input you might have.

A prison outreach program? What sort of program were you thinking of? Perhaps some activity, such as an arts education program or an inside-out workforce program? I'm afraid I haven't been especially social here, so I'm not completely aware of what others might be interested in. Still, it seems as if idle hands and minds are the bane of all of us.

I've been trying to decide what form the outreach program should take. Initially I sent out care packages of a sort, to help with morale and also provide some fun activities for the inmates, but not everyone liked the idea, which I suppose was more in line with our charity work for orphanages or homeless shelters.
Yes, based on my research, I decided that a program to keep the prisoners engaged or educate them would be best. I quite like the notion of an arts education program. I love the arts! I find that an extremely exciting idea, so thank you very much for the input, Ms. Skye.
