Alrighty, quick update before I run off to clean the house.
Friday was Joe and Mia's wedding thing. I showed up on time, which is a miracle, considering the directions Brad gave me were crap and we almost got lost. Then I found out like 3 minutes before the wedding that I was supposed to be a bridesmaid. I was like, wtf!?!? Some notice, please? I'd only been in one wedding before that, and I was like 6 and a freakin flower girl. I had NO idea how to be a bridesmaid, but I followed everyone else and I guess I pulled it off alright, hahah! I could barely walk in the shoes I was wearing, they were super high stilettos, and I've never had shoes like that before. They KILLED my feet, but they were super cute so I put up with it.
The day started off really hot and I was totally sweating, even though I was in a short strapless dress. After the wedding, the weather turned into a thunderstorm, which was awesome. We went to a movie and I was afraid I was going to get struck by lightening. I also felt slightly stupid going to the movies all dressed up like that. People probably thought I was a gomer who got all decked out just for the movies.
We saw the movie "Saved!" I didn't tell Chris that it was a Mandy Moore chick flick until we were already seated, naha. I'm evil. But it turned out to be really good and we both liked it.
He said something really cute when he was taking me home, I laughed my ass off. He goes "How did you get to be so beautiful? Were you born that way? I'm going to thank your mother the next time I see her."
And I said "um, she's not my real mother, I didn't get any looks from her!"
And he said "Well, she raised you, so that's good enough."
Yesterday was a little "party" at Mikey's. Umm there were like 9 people there. Poor Ian is allergic to pecans and he accidently ate some, cause Jenn brought some cookies that had pecans in them and he didn't realize. It was way scary cause his throat almost started closing up. He was alright though!
And today is Father's Day. I completely forgot until my mom reminded me last night. I am a horrible daughter. :( Well, we are all going out to Black Angus to eat, (hahaha, I always call that place 'black anus') and then I think the Smith family is going bowling and taking us all along. Yay for bowling, I love it even though I can't bowl for shit.
