Ranging Like Chickens

 Today's musical find, thanks to LanceArmstrong via Twitter: Calexico. Honest truth is, I could sit & listen to their Black Light & Spoke albums at least once a day, every day. Ahhh. Quite a mix of music really, if you gather a  listen from each of their albums.

In Other Inconsequential News, I stumbled upon an old TV series that I didn't manage to catch when it originally aired in the 90's, called "Roswell." Well! I first saw Brendan Fehr on "Bones" and thought he was nice eye candy, as well as a decent actor-- and there he is, ten years junior, looking much the same. I was laughing my ass off at the beginning of the episode titled "Heat Wave" (Season One, episode 9), because there was a smoochy scene-- & I exclaimed "Holy Hellfire, bring on the brigade, because I think my thighs are on fire!" Hee hee. Get a fan chica, he's otherwise claimed now! *snork* Nice scorcher, whirrr...

What I want to know is: why does he always look so (seriously) pensive in his photos? Who knows. I hope he has a fine marriage & is enjoying pappahood. I am also proud to announce that I managed to take my blood glucose test for the first time yesterday... finally got over my horrible fear by thinking about my  Good Auntie, & that she would probably trade me in an instant, if newly-diagnosed (and low-end A1C) diabetes was all she had to deal with.
 She is doing better, but goes in for more chemo soon... she's losing her hair in big gobs, now :-(   I want to draw her a picture of a cartoon-type person with a carrot-eating rabbit  casually draped over the top of their head... "The new, improved hare-do."

Anyway... Off to get ready for work.
