Our intrepid predator

Kitty was outside the bedroom door meowing like crazy this morning.  When we finally got up, he was nowhere to be found.  BUT - he left us a present.  A little, dead shrew right outside our door.  With three little claw marks on the side.  Our kitty actually successfully hunted something!  Our hundred-something-year-old kitty!  When we wanted to go praise him, we couldn't find him - we looked everywhere, and called and called him, but he was nowhere to be found.  We were really close to thinking he had caught the poor shrew, and then keeled over from excitement and died in a corner somewhere.

But, lo and behold, when I was doing my medicine this morning, he appeared at my feet like he always does!

Here's a picture of Dances With Lamps with his latest trophy.  He hasn't caught anything larger than a bug since he was pretty young and caught a mouse in Joey's apartment.  Such a good kitty!

In other news:  Tor just got neutered and is a conehead, I got a new cellphone (music playing & purple, for free!), we got a real grown up car, and the house remodel is coming along nicely.  (Yeah, we been busy.)
