Real estate agent friend brought her staging lady over tonight, and she helped us rearrange everything, and this place looks AWESOME. Spacious but inviting, classic but hip. She comes back to bring some little decorative things on Friday, we get the photos taken, and on Saturday our listing goes live. I can't believe we're actually going to put this place up for sale. It seems dumb to pass up such a good thing like we have going here, but it's all for the sake of something that's so much better. If there's anything I've learned, it's that the best things in life are worth jumping into with both feet. Here goes nuthin'...
Will be living with my parents next week so this place can get maximum market exposure. If it goes well we're considering living there the whole time our house is being built. Would be a long time, but it would certainly be motivation to keep things moving with the house plans. We'd probably rent a small studio apt in the city so we could keep doing our "extracurricular" activities and maintain our social life. Looking at Craigslist there are some decent-looking studio crash pads for $500/mo. Telecommute several days a week, then come into the city to work when I have rehearsals and shows and whatnot going on. At least, that's our working idea for the moment. It all will depend on how the sale of this place pans out.
Anybody know of somebody looking for a spacious 1 bedroom condo in Seattle, let me know. :)
