back from Indiana
So we got back from Indiana last week. It was a fun trip, besides the fact that both of us got deathly ill...oh and I puked in front of his entire family. Our second night we spent in a hotel because we were so sick...and by the way, Holiday Inn Express, has the hardest beds that I've ever slept in. Really I can't wait for our trip to Canada in a couple weeks just so we can sleep in those comfortable beds. Any way, his parents were really cool. It was kinda sad because his mom kept making passive aggressive comments and some just straight up comments about Edgar moving back. She even asked me if I was ready to move to Indiana...I promptly told her no...though in my head I was screaming "HELL NO!!." She also made some comment about being devestated if Edgar ever had babies while he lived in Washington...because she'd never be able to see them. I was thinking...damn, I am never marrying this boy because there is no way I'm going to move to the middle of no where and have some shitty ass job at Wal-Mart...which pretty much defines any town in the area his parents live in. It sucks that we got sick, it seems like it really cut into the time that we were there...I feel like we didn't get to do much. His sister is really cool though, we had a really good time making fun of Edgar and what not. All in all, I'm glad that we went. I'm glad to be home though. The small town life just isn't for me and just isn't anything I'm ever going to do. Perhaps one day this will create a problem for Edgar, but really I don't think it will ever become an issue.
