Coming to a close

So I'm almost done with this semester/quarter. Being split between two different colleges is definately a tough task, especially with them being on two different term types. Its been very stressful to boot. Working an opening shift starting around 4am, getting off at noon, reading for four hours, napping then heading to a 6-10pm class can be very rough on the body. Not to mention, the terms had been relatively slow until now. With finals for all classes on the 10th, 11th and 12th, I have been almost non stop studying. I've been trying to get breaks in for sanity on weekends around work. I've seen a few movies and went to the Trans Siberian Orchestra on Sunday, which by the way is freakin amazing. Definately a life experience, and I hope to have one every year. ^.^ For the past 72 hours, I have been mashing my brain with information pertaining to my Marketing and Business Ethics classes. Just took another test in Marketing, and I think I aced it this time. Trying to make up for my blunder last test, where the wording got me very confused and I studied the lectures instead of the book which was a huge mistake. Then today I worked for a few hours on my Moral Intelligence Development paper, which, I have to admit, was pretty fun to do. Very deep and helps me analyze myself on a different level than I'm used to. Helped me to focus on what my weaknesses are, because I have a tendency to not pay attention to them. This Ethics class has a lot of homework, and she is pretty strict on making sure you do it. She even gave us three homework assignments on the days our midterm and MID were due. Unfortunately, for the first time, today I wasnt able to complete all three, but oh well, I still get 3 points. This week has been rather busy, as I still have 2 other homework assignments, one for Tax Accounting and the other for Accounting I. Still have two openings at the end of the week as well, fun fun.
I just registered for my classes. Winter quarter for CSUEB, spring quarter for DVC. In total, its looking like 24 units this time. But the good thing is that CSUEB ends in March, so it will be over quick. I'm taking Accounting II, Business Law, and Macro Econ, at DVC and Organizational Behavior, Consumer Behavior and Business Communications at CSUEB. They all actually sound like fun, just not because it means I'll have no free time. Derrick is kinda feeling the effects of that right now as my finals creep up. But I think he understands and just wants me to get it done and over with. He just really wants us to live at the same house, hence why he's so heavily looking at buying a house knowing I'm doing school with little working. Currently all my money is going to school and gas, with a little Starbucks in between. But I too hope we can get a house soon, I really miss being at one place, rather than jumping back and forth between his place and mine.
2008 looks like it will be a busy and possibly stressful year. Must buy lots of herbal tea and take baths. lol
