Yep, that's right! After the end of my band, I seem to be able to write better than I could before. So, I wrote lyrics again. But, keep in mind, it's deeper than just about coloring my hair. Okay, enjoy the horrible lyrics. :p

"Bleached With Black Streaks" by Kelsey Engvik
My hair color seems to reflect my mood,
And they both change frequently.
I dye it pink when I feel nice,
Red when I'm so angry.
But sometimes moods linger
And I just can't let go.
So the color stays and fades
While I let my roots grow.
CHORUS:
And I'm bleached with black streaks.
My life has changed so drastically.
I've been forced to erase it,
But some of my past stays there.
I bleach it, and my colors change.
The black streaks stain my hair.
No matter what color
Or brand of dye I use,
The black streaks stay
With all of the purples and blues.
I change the color, I change the cut.
Though the bleach changes shade,
The black does not.
CHORUS
I try to cover up all of the colors
With more of my dye.
Oh, but it stays there,
Even though I try and try.
I dye it every month,
But it always seems to fade.
Maybe next time,
I'll go turquoise or jade.
