Oh perilous world.

Ok. It has been awhile. What’s new you ask? Nothing really. I have been working my ass off at the law firm and rehearsals are in full swing. Thusly I have no free time for myself much less Mz. G. Who by the way is extremely understanding when it comes to rehearsal’s. She doesn’t give me a hard time about not seeing each other most of the week and part of the weekends. Such is the life I’ve chosen.
Rehearsals are coming along rather well. We are meeting at a spot in the city during the week and at the land on the weekends. I go in early on Saturdays to help with the land. It’s a good workout let me tell you. The mosquito’s can be a bit of a hassle but otherwise it’s nice to get out of the city and spend time in the redwoods for time. I’m looking into a natural bug repellent. I don’t want to douse myself in Deet every week during the run. I have been told that a mixture of Lemon grass and eucalyptus works well. If anything I can use some Lemon grass for a coconut curry dish I’m making.

Anyhoo

Nessie and Lu lu had their baby. A beautiful baby girl named Violet. There were some complications that required a hospital trip but all is well now. We got to visit her last week. She is a wonderful baby. I look forward to spending more time with them.

Finally, I had the most bizarre dream last week that is still haunting me a bit.
I dreamt I was back in the house I lived at in Rohnert Park. (I was 8 when I left)
I was in the Garage and My sister and her first husband pulled up. The thing was, it was as if I never left. In the dream I was a bit younger then I am now. But I was grown up. When my sister and her husband pulled up I joked with them and helped them carry groceries into the kitchen. It was as if I had never left that house and grew up there. My brother in law was still alive, my sister wasn’t addicted to drugs and everything seemed great. When I woke up, it took me a moment to realize where I was. The experience was very bitter sweet. I called my sister the next evening and was pleased to find she just received her 30 day chip. Maybe some one was trying to tell me something. I don’t know. Maybe it was a mini stroke. In any case, it’s going to one of those dreams that will stick with me for awhile.
