There's a story behind at least one part of the Christmas gift I sent to Venny.
Back last year when I was unemployed and spending my eBay earnings on my new obsession (Pinky:st), I was posting in my blog about these cute little dolls rather frequently. One of them was this entry, in which I announced the adding of Pinky's Roadmovie to my sidebar links; incidentally, I also alluded to my purchasing of the Grimrock Evangelion figures.
The meat, my friends, is in the comments.
Of course, after I got a full-time gig (which technically started the following year, but whatever), I hunted down a brand-new set of the (at the time) increasingly rare Evangelion Pinky:Cos figures and had them shipped from Japan to me, so I could send them to the UK. Then all the delay bullshit went on, which I'll spare you all the details of.
So I guess Venny loves me forever now, huh? ;)
Oh, and here's the googly moogly and the green chocobo; I've been wanting to post this online for awhile now, but only after Venny got the original:
