New Year's Resolution
I don't normally do New Year's Resolutions, because I know that I pretty much never keep them... but this time I want to.
My New Year's Resolution is to work more on my Oceania stories. I want to, by year's end, have a sizable amount of new material produced, and have the basic plots worked out for each major novel. Right now I only have the structural idea for three of the four novels, not a solid actual conflict through each book, nor a final climax for several of them. I want to remedy that. I've got some ideas brewing in my head for the most difficult book of them all at this point -- the third one -- but I want to let those ideas settle down a bit and then I'll try to commit them to a word processor. I really want to work on this stuff more now. I'm probably going to buy a laptop this year, so I should be able to work on my stuff more frequently.
