New hair
So now I'm sitting here with plastic around my head while typing this. I'm changing my hair color from blond to dark brown. We'll se how it looks. I've dyed my hair red and light brown before but never dark brown. I'm hoping it will look good. And tomorrow I will go to Kalmar with my brother and his girlfriend for some shopping. I have decided that we shall go to the second hand-shop. I hope I will be able to find some clothes to my tiny steampunk closet. I newly discovered the style but I was really happy to do so. "So that's what it's called!" was my first thought. Probably it wasn't the very first thought but I have always been interested in history and perticularly in the 19th century so when I found steampunk I knew it was the right thing for me. So now I am slowly building up a closet of steampunk clothes. I guess the only things really steampunk I have so far is a waistcoat on which I sewed on some old keys, a couple of old shoes (my grandmother said that her aunts had shoes like that) and a pocket watch my father gave me for my birthday. His father gave it to him when he turned 30 but my father rarely used it so he thought I could have it instead. My grandfather got the watch when he helped a couple of old ladies with the estate of their dead father. The watch had belonged to the dead man so it's at least a hundred years old. I really love it.
