(no subject)
I'm up! Oscar decided he wanted to go out, but when we got outside he didn't want to go out in the deluge and continually howling wind. He finally his between a brick post and a bush and did his business.
I'm a tad worried about some friends of mine that live in southern LA, between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. I was able to get in touch with them yesterday, only to find out that they didn't evacuate, presumably because they had nowhere to go. I tried to talk them into coming to Memphis and I had a place for them to stay or at least letting me come down and get there kids. They have 7. I talked to them before the worst hit them, but they were already without power.
I hope they are alright. I've been praying for them all night!
I think I'll go back to bed now...
