shoe conundrum....
Tonight is the big blacktie benefit for Agape. I will be there once again!
OK.... well here's the deal. Shortly after I got back from being at home, I realized that there might be a slight problem...
My dress is floor length and there's no room for error on the shoe front. They have to be at least 2 inch heels for the dress to not drag the floor!
I was thinking about this the other day and realized "hey! Dummy, you're not going to be able to get the swollen, nasty, injured footsie into a high heel show. If by chance, you can it will likely be very painful!"
I was very right in my thought process. I tried the shoes on, but resulted in bringing myself to tears!
I really only had three options:
1) have the dress hemmed before tonight (which I really didn't want to do)
2) wear flats and let the dress drag the ground.
3) wear heels and grit my teeth in pain all night.
I didn't like any of those options, so ...
I went and bought a new dress! hehe
