Elena's Birth Story

About three weeks ago, I went and got a Google phone. I like it, and it has helped me keep up with people the past week. It's kind of difficult to write out anything long, though, and this is only the second time I've been able to get to the computer. I wanted to write out Elena's birth story before I forgot too much of it.

She is gorgeous and I'm so glad everyone is healthy and settled in at home. I am also fascinated by the story and appreciate you telling it. Birthing the babies is a mystery to me and it's nice to hear a perspective from someone I know.

Congrats to you and Ben! I hope it all settles down for you soon.

I'm with this person -- I appreciate and am fascinated by the story. No one close to me has ever had a baby and then told the story. And since all of a sudden, I'm having urges (which I blame on the fact that you produced an adorable little creature) that I never had before to procreate, I like hearing the details.

Jessie would not want the details, though. She's squimish.

There are more gross details i could share, but I didnt want everyone to hurl. Things are better but not 100% in that department now.

I read this book "your best birth" by ricki lake and it talked about how no one ever talks about birth stories. I only recently started to talk to friends about such things and it is helpful preparation.
