WELP Collin came over on Sunday to pick up his GPS and the Bulls game was on so he decided to stay and watch the rest with me. We caught up on what we had missed from not speaking for one whole month. His new job is very hard, he has a new studio/apartment where he lives with a girl named Hilary (Hilarie? Hillary?), this new apartment has a HOT TUB, his brother and his brother's wife are expecting a baby, etc. I updated him on my life (I am goin to therapy, I build a shelving unit for my house, I am reupholstering my kitchen chairs, I killed a spider, I got a gym membership, etc.) We had a very nice, very friendly two-hour conversation when he decided it was about time to hit the ol' dirt road so I hugged him goodbye and he said, "You can come over to my apartment some time to see it if you want" and I said, "Ok, give me a call some time" and he replied, "You can come now if you want." SO I ran to my closet to grab my swimsuit because HOT TUB hello
We got there, I met his roommate who is very nice and pretty, we chatted for a bit and then got in the HOT TUB (I just cannot believe he has one in his house) where we chitchatted and drank some beers. After about 45 minutes there was a bit of an awkward silence and he looked over at me and said, "You too, huh?" and I said, "Yeah." He said "You wanna?" and I said, "Yes, but I don't know if it's a good idea. If you want to, you have to make the first move" so he grabbed my hand and pulled me over next to him, yadda yadda yadda we went into the bedroom where we proceeded to have the best sex of both of our lives (he confirmed this fact two days later.)
So in conclusion we are dumb but I don't care it was HOT and I LOVE HIM and whatever
P.S. We went to the Sox game on Tuesday and afterwards the same thing happened, we admitted we still love each other (duh, but it felt awesome to say it/hear it anyway) and then I spent the night at his house and we screwed again in the morning, then made a total adult decision and opted not to see each other for a week at least so we don't end up rushing back into things. He is wary of me and my temper, and I am wary of not being ready to treat him fairly. We want to be together but let's get real we need some work. Baby steps, lookin before I'm leapin, day-to-day livin
