two new mangas
I recently ordered some more mangas..damn, my collection is getting huge. I'm gonna have to get rid of some soon..
Anywayz, I bought An Even More Beautiful Lie by Kei Kanai. I have to say, it was really boring. The art is beautiful, but the story was so so. I don't get the title. What was the LIE? And the only thing that really happened was a kiss between Kurosu and Yukari. Throw in a handjob, a robbery in progress(not by Kurosu) , attempted rape (not by Kurosu). I'm hoping for a second volume, because I get that these two really like each other, and might even love, but it wasn't obvious. And what was with the ending? Did they do it? In one scene they were kissing passionately, then in the next, a fully clothed Kurosu was trying to wake up a naked(maybe) Yukari. The end..Wat?
Rabbit Man, Tiger Man by Akira Honma, I love it to death. Vol 2 is a total cliffhanger, I can't wait for vol 3. The story starts with Dr. Uzuki following a cat into an alley and finds a wounded yakuza laying on the ground. As frightened as he was, he took care of the yakuza's wounds before running away. The next day the yukuza aka Nonami goes the the hospital looking for Uzuki. He didn't remember what the doct that saved him looked like and he misheard Uzuki's name, so he went on to search every Suzuki in the hospital. Their relationship starts there. Basically Nonami was having some trouble with his gang at the time, so he was doing his best to keep Uzuki out of it without him knowing, and falling inlove. It was weird for him because he thought Uzuki was a girl.
Fave scene : ( This is when Nonami cornered Uzuki at his apartment)
N : You're still holding out on me, aren't you doc? I trust my instincts. And they're all screaming that you...ARE A CHICK.
Nonami kisses Uzuki.
U : I..I am not a woman!
N : Liar. There's no way I'd be this hot for a guy. Don't think you can fool me, doc!

lol. I laughed my @ss off. This story is really cute and really funny. I has it's sweet moments too. I normally would not have bought this because Uzuki is half of Nonami's size. I'm not a shota/shota-sh fan. I don't even like it when the character looks too child like, even if he's not. I prefer man on man :D I read the scanlation and fell in love with the characters.
Oh, and I love when Uzuki and Nonami morphs into animals..totally cute and hilarious, the big scary tiger and the frightened little white rabbit.
