I looooove Harvest Moon!! And your extensive knowledge of the game is entirely commendable. ♥

My roommate wasn't very impressed with the duck farm plan. I told her we could get a kiddie pool and a couple ducks to get started, and leave them on the balcony. Or to save money, we could just let the ducks swim around the apartment complex pool, but by the look on her face, she didn't seem to think it was a very good idea. My parents too. They also didn't approve. Whhhhyyyyy. Why crush my hopes and dreams? I think I could be happy with a life of raising ducks.

Because it could work, right? All the other farmers have to get their ducks from somewhere else after all, right? Soon all the grocery stores would be selling my duck eggs instead of chicken eggs. I would convince people that duck eggs were more desirable and nutritious through advertisements. Then soon enough, restaurants around the world would be ordering the duck eggs from my farm. It would be the best in the country. I'll tell my future children that they can go to college if they want, but one of them has to inherit the duck farm legacy.

But geez. Ducks usually mate for life, so I would probably have to design some way to match them up for maximum happiness level (happy ducks make happy eggs). And would have to buy a duck crossing sign for the road leading up to my farm.

Sometimes I wish real life were like Harvest Moon. How quaint and simple that would be. Just give the most acceptable bachelor a gift everyday. Talk to the boy you like most everyday. Then throw some blue sparkles in the air while offering him a blue feather! Better yet, it would be the opposite way around, and all the bachelors were giving me gifts everyday. XD

How happy this post makes me! :)
