gentlemen, take notice....
i hate shopping. i enjoy having nice new things (who doesn't?) but the actual act of shopping itself i abhore (which seems to render me unusual among females). the flourescent lights make my head spin, the prices jack up my blood pressure, and the actual act of trying on clothing i have deemed hazardous to my health (see how you like getting stuck in a dress with your head coming out on of the arm holes and your hands all tangled up in the straps! and everything's so SCRATCHY...). all in all, the consumer experience is one i avoid whenever possible. unfortunately, preparations for college render it necessary and unavoidable. however, i'll only be going to college once! whew. and that's my rant. i'm leaving for martha's vineyard tomorrow, we'll be there for a week, and then off to connecticutt to take the plunge. wish me luck!
