slip-sliding away
Just bleached the pantry here. Yurgh. If I suffer adverse effects, I'm going to ask Dad if I can sue.... not really, but it was still a nasty task! Luckily I had help, or I'd've gone nuts. Alba and Sandra were really sweet and stayed an hour later than they had to to help me and Anna and Andrae. It was interesting because somehow Sandra and I started singing CHristmas songs, and we wound up on Silent Night--- but she was singing it in Spanish, and I was singing it in German!
Things are rolling along slowly here-- the days slip by (is it really the 23rd? I thought it was the 21st!), each fairly similar to the others, with minor triumps and inconveniences.
I've been running a lot here-- I guess because it's pure 'my' time, and because I feel so much better after I do it-- it reminds me of the day CONA started, when I went for a run after work (but before packing) and the light was perfect and a storm was coming and the tiger lilies were glorious and it felt so good and I was so excited because when I got back there'd be CONA... so running helps me recapture that. Plus it's a good stress-reliever.
Anyway, I have to go back to work in ten minutes, so I hope everyone's having a good summer! love--
