SHINY!
I HAVE CAR!
More importantly, I have new car! 2007 Mazda3i, Touring package with ABS/side air bag package. Black with black interior, and sometime this week I'm taking it back to the dealer so they can put protective stuff on the inside and outside to keep it new and shiny looking.
We got an amazing deal. The guy showed us the dealer invoice with what they paid, the MSRP, and said "We can split the difference and this is what you'd pay including taxes." We explained that was a little high for us, he said he'd see what he could do, and he lowered the price enough so that we could just afford it.
It...wow. This car rocks. It has all the bells and whistles I could want, including an auxilary input for my iPod (I have to buy a cable for that but that's like $10 and I can pick it up tomorrow), it has a grand total of 27 miles on it (17 when I bought it), it's black and shiny and sexy and I am in love. It handles beautifully, it corners like a dream, it's new and it's mine and I adore it.
I'm going to be in debt to my parents for the rest of my life. I don't care. I'll talk to them tomorrow and see how they want to be paid back.
