well, that was scary
Yesterday I got a migraine in the afternoon, and I felt pretty awful by the time I left work, including some stumbling over my words.
The migraine was still pretty awful this morning, so I called in sick and spent a lot of the day sleeping. Unfortunately by this afternoon, in addition to the pain, the aphasia kicked in full force and I was really struggling for words and talking without stuttering. Morgan came home and we basically went right back out again to the ER.
They gave me the standard dilaudid + zofran + fluids cocktail, along with some magnesium, and after all the dilaudid I could speak again. Migraine is I think broken but I'm in postdrome phase so my head still aches a bit. Will be going to bed soon.
I'll be calling my neurologist tomorrow, because that freaked me the fuck out. It hasn't happened in years and argh.
