I apparently slept wrong last night; the left side of my neck hurts down into my shoulder and down my arm, and in front down to my collarbone. This is not helping my headache.
I do have a chiropractic appointment today that will hopefully help with it, but the annoyance there is that it's at 3pm and I get off work at 12:30pm. So I have 2.5 hours to kill. It's enough time to go home, but it seems stupid to go from work to home back to general work area back to home. Plus my car is about a thousand miles overdue for an oil change. It's not giving me any issues but still. I was hoping to be able to take it in this week but we'll see, I guess.
Also, I really really need the new glasses. It's becoming more and more obvious that this scrip isn't right for me, and the tint on the lenses is no longer enough to prevent eyestrain. But I have to wait until I think Saturday before I can order them. Stupid benefits. Fortunately I checked and I have enough on my HSA card to hopefully pay for whatever insurance won't cover.
I also am thinking that I'm going to need a pair of untinted glasses for driving at night and stuff, but I don't want to spend money on another pair of frames. Once I get the new computer glasses and make sure they work, I'll likely take the frames from my current computer glasses and just ask to put new lenses in them. I know these frames are comfortable, they're in good shape, and it saves me some money. I can work with my other (regular) glasses until then; they're tinted but it's not enough to bother me with night driving, and the prescription hasn't changed so much that I can't see.
Sigh. I'm just impatient to get them. But even if I order on Saturday, I'm looking at another week before I get them. Makes me wish LensCrafters both took insurance and did what I need doing on my lenses.
Ow quit it, shoulder.
