Tired becc has been pretty exhausted for the last few days. No idea why; I hope I'm not fighting anything off. I forgot to take my Nuvigil yesterday, which probably had something to do with it, but today I could not get up and moving, which was problematic due to Buddy and yeah, not a great doggie mama this morning, but I think he's forgiven me.
Despite not having to be at work until 12:45pm today I still couldn't get up in time to be here and ran about ten minutes late. Fortunately there's nothing going on.
On the up side, Morgan and I had dinner last night with Pinky and Kroroboros, which was good because we haven't seen them in a while and they just moved. Pinky has some annoying health issues going on, but she's doing okay and they at least know what the problem is, or think they do. And the new apartment is pretty cool, especially since it was recently renovated. They're hoping to have people over at some point to do a housewarming thing, so we'll get to see it.
They came over after dinner to spend some time with the Budster, who happily nommed on his bone pretty much the whole time.
Meanwhile, Morgan and I are trying to make Thanksgiving travel plans and honestly aren't sure we can afford for both of us to go to MD and board Buddy. The tickets alone are over a grand, closer to $1400 really, and boarding Buddy is pretty much equivalent to almost another plane ticket. Morgan has to be there, and I hate the idea of spending Thanksgiving without him, but between this and that and the other thing I'm just not sure we have around two grand for traveling. My MIL has offered to help somewhat, but I still don't think it's enough. We have to talk about it.
I have almost enough miles on United to get a ticket, but due to the holiday and stuff I can't use them. So that idea is out. I know we should have made reservations a while ago but we didn't have the money then, either. Argh.
This would be the first Thanksgiving in probably over a decade we wouldn't spend together. Which sucks big-time, but I just don't know what else to do about it.
Still tired. I did post Chapter 34 of WC on Thursday, so yay, but I'm not quite sure where I'm going next and I've been so tired I haven't really had brain to think about it. Maybe today once I take care of a bunch of work stuff.
